Ingredients

1 cup of water

1 teaspoon freshly grated ginger

1/2 lemon - juiced

1/8 teaspoon turmeric

honey to taste

Feel free to add more of any of the ingredients listed above. This is what we like to do at the house and depending on how we are feeling, we will adjust as needed.

You can also add things like cinnamon if you want a little extra flavor.


Instructions

Place all of the ingredients into your saucepan and bring to a boil.

Let the tea boil for about 5 minutes and then turn off the stove.

Let the tea steep covered for about 10 minutes.

Strain the tea using a 3" wire mesh strainer.
